PADUCAH, KY - Milton Gene ( Milt) Otey of Melber, passed away 5:00AM, Wednesday, February, 15, 2012 at his residence.

Mr. Otey was a retired chemist for USEC and a member of Melber Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Rose Ramsay Otey, his daughter Cynthia Cunningham and husband Rodger of Hopkinsville; his son Darren Otey and wife Becky of Morgantown; two grandchildren, Clara Otey, and Agnes Otey.

He was preceded in death by four brothers. His parents were Thurman and Vadis Jewell Otey.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Melber Baptist Church with Revs. Jeff Cruse, and C.W. Barnhill officiating. Burial will follow at Allcock Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Otey will be from 5:00 PM Until 8:00 PM Friday at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home, and after 9:00 AM Saturday at Melber Baptist Church.
