pac1 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (10/10/13) – One of Madisonville’s local Hip-Hop artists, Pac Tha Innovator will be debuting his first album, “Intergalactic Take Over” on October 31, 2013.

Born and raised in Madisonville, D’Angelo Scisney was exposed to music at a young age by his father Neal Scisney who was a drummer. Pac was your typical “fat kid” growing up. He was heavily picked on in grade school and in middle school. When he got to high school he was associated with the Gangsta Disciples.

By the age of 16, Pac had given himself to God which made it difficult being a Christian the remaining time in high school. However, despite all his past failures and mistakes, he continued to stand tall and bold for Jesus Christ.

Pac describes his music as being different from the rest of the music out there.

“It’s a hip-hop album from a Christian positive perspective,” said Pac. “Basically the sound is totally different from anything you hear today.”

Besides rapping about things from a Christian point-of-view, Pac also addresses real life trials and tribulations while remaining truthful and transparent.

Pac also describes his music as both animated and challenging at times. But despite being a boxer with punch lines, he loosely relies on them to get his point across in his music. Pac correspondingly is a producer and a drummer and keeps his mind open to all the different types and new music.

“The album is called ‘Intergalactic Take Over,’ and is basically written in a sci-fi sense,” said Pac. “You see some people look at Christians like they are weird. So I decided to add a sci-fi term to the album.”

Using aliens as a metaphor for Christians, Pac was able to create and shed some light from a more positive standpoint.

“My style on my single ‘Go Gangsta,’ talks about why I do the type of music I do,” said Pac. “However, don’t underestimate my lyrical skill just because I’m not cussing and the messages are positive… it doesn’t mean I am whack or weak MC.”
