WEBSTER COUNTY, KY (2/20/12) – On Feb. 20, 2012, at approximately 5:54 AM, Kentucky State Police (KSP) officials were dispatched to the site of a single-vehicle accident with injuries on Pennyrile Parkway.
Once on the scene, troopers found that Solomon Eunice, age 41 of Corydon, KY, was operating a 2000 Ford Ranger northbound on the Pennyrile Parkway when he began experiencing tire problems. One of his front tires blew causing him to lose control. The vehicle struck the end of the guardrail which caused it to overturn. The vehicle exited the roadway and came to rest.
Mr. Eunice was transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. His passenger, Vicky Parker, age 57 of Metter, GA, was flown from the scene to St. Mary’s in Evansville, IN for treatment. Both subjects were wearing seatbelts.
Trooper First Class John Komar investigated the crash that occurred on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 5:54 a.m. The Hanson Volunteer Fire Department, Webster County EMS, and Medical Center Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
