CAIRO, KY - Nancy Catherine Royster, 99, Cairo, passed away at 5:10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center.

She was the oldest member of Cairo United Methodist Church in Cairo. She was a retired school teacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Anna Belia Powell Royster.

Survivors include nieces and nephews, David Royster of Dixon, Judy Scott of McCloud, Okla., Sharon Adams of Ohio and Dr. Mark Royster of Wilmore, Ky.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cairo United Methodist Church. The Rev. Mark Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Royster Cemetery in Cairo.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Cairo United Methodist Church.

Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
