STURGIS, KY - Gladys M. Butts Suits, 91, Sturgis, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at her home.

She was a Kentucky Colonel. She was the manager of the Hudson Motel in Sullivan, Ky. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Gene Butts of Sturgis; one grandson; two stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; two stepgreat-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis. Brother A.Y. Hodge will officiate. Burial will be in Pythian Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice or Sturgis Rest Home.
