PROVIDENCE, KY - Jimmy Springfield, 57 of Providence, passed away on Friday, Jan 20 at his home.

He was born on April 17, 1954 in Chicago to James and Mary Springfield. He graduated from high school in Chicago and after returning to Providence was married to Margaret Dailey on July 1, 1983 in Hopkins County. Jimmy worked as a farmer and enjoyed model cars, model trains and playing x-box.

Survivors include his wife, Maggie and a son Daniel both of Providence; a step son PJ Tabor of Dawson Springs, two grandchildren and a brother Ed Springfield of Boca Raton, Fl.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 23 at 1 PM at Jones & Erdman in Providence with bro Billy Parrish officiating. Interment will be in the family plot at Star Hope Cemetery . Visitation is on Monday from 11 AM to service time at the funeral home.
