SLAUGHTERS, KY - Eva Elizabeth (Hartford) Maraman, 93, of Slaughters, KY passed away Thursday January 19, 2012 at Ridgewood Terrace in Madisonville.
She was born in Webster County, Kentucky to Bernard and Maudie (Crowley) Hartford on May 26, 1918. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Brick Church. She enjoyed quilting and was devoted to her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Allen Maraman, 1 Granddaughter, 2 brothers: Walter and Ray Hartford, and 1 sister Edna Carver.
She is survived by 4 children Norman Maraman of Slaughters, KY, Jimmy Maraman and wife Joan of Henderson, KY, Gayla McGraw of Slaughters, KY, Sherry Wells and husband Kenneth of Slaughters, KY; 2 brothers Jack Harford, Emerson Hartford and wife Francis; 2 Sisters Betty Grisham Cates, Estelle Luck; 8 Grandchildren; 18 Great-Grandchildren; 11 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces & Nephews.
Services will be 2:00 PM Monday January 23 at Zion Brick Church. Rev. Leroy Vaught and Rev. Jeff Vaught will officiate.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel.
Burial will be in Zion Brick Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Craig Carver, Ronnie Hartford, Brandon Webb, Berry Sauer, Kenneth Wells, Josh Duncan, Darrin Maraman
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Brick Church Cemetery Fund or St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
