WC logoDIXON, Ky. (2/8/19) — Webster County halted a six-game losing skid on Thursday night, dismantling visiting Hardin County (Ill.) 87-51 in a boys' high school basketball game. 

The victory allowed Webster County to move one game above the .500 mark. With the win, Webster County improved to 13-12.

Webster County shot 61 percent (36-of-59) from the field. The Trojans were 9-of-16 (56.2 percent) from 3-point range.

Tyler Camplin led Webster County with a game-high 25 points. Accompanying Camplin in double figures for the Trojans, Malachi Douglas added 14 points.

Narrowly missing double figures in scoring the Trojans, Destin Allen and Grant Turner netted nine points apiece.
