WC logoMURRAY, Ky. (2/10/19) — Raigan Price scored a game-high 14 points and Karlie Keeney netted 13 points to lead Webster County past Owensboro Catholic 45-40 in the Independence Bank Valentine's Shootout at Murray High School on Saturday.

With the win, Webster County improved to 25-3.

Owensboro Catholic dropped to 20-7 with the loss.

Barely missing double figures for the Lady Trojans, Sadie Wurth netted nine points.

Webster County faced a four-point deficit at the end of the opening quarter but outscored Owensboro Catholic 14-6 in the second quarter to lead 21-18 at halftime.

Finishing strong, Webster County outscored Owensboro Catholic 14-8 in the final quarter.

Hannah McKay paced Owensboro Catholic with 12 points. Accompanying McKay in double figures in scoring, Sarah Beth Clemens netted 10 points.
