Ohio County EaglesHARTFORD, Ky. (3/22/19) — Ohio County remained in the win column at home on Thursday, beating Breckinridge County 15-11 in an early-season high school softball game.

With the win, Ohio County moved to 2-0.

Breckinridge County stumbled to 1-1 with the loss. 

Reagan Maggard provided four hits and three RBIs to lead the Lady Eagles to the victory. Maggard double twice for Ohio County in the hard-fought win.

Kara Leach and Camden Sandefur each homered for the Lady Eagles. Leach, Sandefur, Sidney Hudnall and Elli Graves finished with two hits apiece. Helping to lead Ohio County offensively, Leach and Sandefur delivered four RBIs and three RBIs, respectively.

The Lady Eagles edged Breckinridge County 15-14 in the hits column.

Ohio County pitcher Haylee Jones earned the win while Breckinridge County hurler Ashlyn White took the loss.

Bailey Caster and Hannah Radaszewski paced Breckinridge County with three hits apiece. Both Caster and White, who supplied three RBIs, homered for the Lady Tigers.
