muhl mustangs1 300GREENVILLE, Ky. (2/9/19) — Host Muhlenberg County faced a single digit deficit at the conclusion of each quarter as Logan County held on to win 54-51 in a boys' high school basketball game on Friday night,

With the loss, Muhlenberg County dropped to 12-10.

Logan County improved to 19-6 with the win.

Tommy Krohn scored 13 points to lead Logan County to the victory. Accompanying Krohn in double figures for the Cougars, Anthony Woodard and Dalton Thompson added 11 points apiece.

Logan County led 24-22 at halftime and outscored the Mustangs 15-9 in the third quarter.

Nash Divine led Muhlenberg County with 13 points. Landon Gunterman and Alex Johnston narrowly missed joining Divine in double figures in scoring for the Mustangs, netting nine points apiece.
