muhl mustangs1 300GREENVILLE, Ky. (2/13/19) — Three Muhlenberg County players reached double figures in the scoring column as the Mustangs defeated visiting Todd County Central 68-44 in a boys' high school basketball game on Tuesday night.

With the win, Muhlenberg County improved to 13-10.

Todd County Central slipped to 5-22 with the loss.

Nash Divine scored a team-best 17 points to pace Muhlenberg County in the victory. Accompanying Divine in double figures for the Mustangs, Noah Phillips scored 11 points and Asher Carver added 10 points.

Muhlenberg County led at the conclusion of each quarter. The Mustangs took a 37-23 lead into halftime and finished strong. Muhlenberg County outscored Todd County Central 20-5 in the fourth quarter.

John Calvery paced Todd County Central with a game-high 19 points. Calvery was the only Todd County Central player to reach double figures in the scoring column.
