Muhlenberg County Stallions logoFULTON, Ky. (6/10/19) — Muhlenberg County remained in the loss column over the weekend as host Fulton prevailed 10-9 in 10 innings in an Ohio Valley League game at Lohaus Field on Sunday.

With the loss, Muhlenberg County dropped to 1-5.

Fulton improved to 5-3 with the win.

Cade Killingsworth earned the pitching win for the Railroaders. Kilingsworth pitched one inning, allowing zero runs on one hit.

Britt Netterville, Ben Kowalski and Chance Forbes each put in work in relief out of the bullpen for the Mustangs.

Christian Williams took the pitching loss for the Stallions. Williams pitched two-thirds of an inning, allowing one run on one hit, striking out one and walking zero.

Ryan Middleton started the game on the mound for the Railroaders. Middleton surrendered four runs on five hits over five innings, striking out nine and walking one.

Nick Ramanjulu started the game on the mound for the Stallions. Ramanjulu worked six innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out seven.

Luke McKenzie smacked two home runs while David Lott homered once for the Railroaders. A solo shot from McKenzie in the bottom half of the 10th inning allowed Fulton to win on a walk-off. 

Fulton outhit Muhlenberg County 13-10. McKenzie, Lott, Sam Vomhof and Ty Wooton each collected multiple hits for the Railroaders. McKenzie led Fulton at the plate, delivering four hits in six at-bats.

Luke Kuester, Jackson Little and Anthony Hennings paced Muhlenberg County with two hits apiece.
