Muhl Stallions Baseball logoGREENVILLE, Ky. (6/11/19) — Muhlenberg County made the most of its offensive opportunities to defeat visiting visiting Fulton 9-4 in an Ohio Valley League game on Tuesday.

Nick Casey earned the victory on the mound for the Stallions. Casey allowed two hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking one as he notched the pitching win. Another Muhlenberg County pitcher, Allen Howe, threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Howe recorded the last nine outs to claim the save.

Noah Vickers took the pitching loss for the Railroaders. Vickers allowed three runs on zero hits and walked one.

Fulton lost despite outhitting Fulton 7-4 and launching two home runs.

Will Myers went 2-for-5 at the plate to lead Muhlenberg County in the hits column.

Luke McKenzie led Fulton offensively, supplying two hits in four at-bats. McKenzie and Davis Lott each homered for the Railroaders.
