Muhlenberg County Stallions logoGREENVILLE, Ky. (7/9/19) — Muhlenberg County plated four runs over its last five at-bats to beat visiting Dubois County 5-2 in an Ohio Valley League game on Monday.

Nick Casey earned the pitching win for the Stallions. Casey surrendered zero runs on zero hits over one inning. Jordan Gould and Noah Graham helped to close out the game in relief roles for the Stallions. Gould recorded the last six outs to claim the save.

Tim Rogers absorbed the pitching loss for the Bombers. Rogers allowed one hit and two runs over two innings, striking out four.

Dubois County lost despite doubling up Muhlenberg County 8-4 in the hits column. However, Dubois County struggled defensively, committing three errors.

Will Myers led Muhlenberg County at the plate, delivering two hits. Myers and Jackson Little drove in one run each for the Stallions.

Evan Kahre and Austin Duffy paced Dubois County with two hits apiece.
