McLean CountyOWENSBORO, Ky. (2/10/19) — McLean County was unable to notch a win on a neutral floor as 3rd Region rival Breckinridge County pulled away to win 67-51 in a late-season boys' high school basketball game at the Sportscenter on Saturday.

With the loss, McLean County stumbled to 10-13.

Current 3rd Region frontrunner Breckinridge County improved to 22-3 with the win.

Kobe Poole scored a game-high 19 points to lead Breckinridge County to the victory. Tanner Whitworth accompanied Poole in double figures for the Fighting Tigers, finishing with 11 points. Narrowly missing double figures in scoring for Breckinridge County, Joey Howell tossed in nine points.

Breckinridge County carried a lead out of each quarter, outscoring the Cougars 18-6 in the second period to lead 36-21 at halftime.

Logan Patterson paced McLean County with a team-best 15 points. Joining Patterson in double figures for the Cougars, Hunter Patrick added 13 points.
