McLean CountyCALHOUN, Ky. (5/14/19) — McLean County connected for 13 hits on its way to doubling up visiting Webster County 6-3 in a high school baseball game on Monday.

With the win, McLean County improved to 9-16.

Webster County dropped to 9-22 with the loss.

Justin Capps and Josh Badertscher each went 3-for-3 at the plate for the Cougars. Aiding the McLean County offensive attack, Jacob Clark finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs.

McLean County pitcher AJ Cline worked a complete game and earned the pitching win. Cline limited Webster County to three hits, recording 10 strikeouts while walking four.

Cline helped his pitching cause at the plate, finishing 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Webster County hurler Brendon Thompson took the pitching loss.
