HCC StormMADISONVILLE, Ky. (10/9/18) — Hopkins County Central fell to rival Caldwell County in the 7th District Girls' Soccer Tournament Semifinals at Madisonville-North Hopkins High School on Monday.

With the loss, Hopkins County Central ended its season 11-4-1.

Caldwell County improved to 10-11-0 and advanced to the 7th District title match with the win.

Determined Caldwell County scored four goals in the second half to pull away for the win.

Kendall Boyd, Laney Fletcher, Becca Siebert and Kaylee McEnaney netted one goal apiece for the Lady Tigers in the come-from-behind win.

Katelyn Cavanaugh scored both of the Lady Storm's goals in the season-ending setback.

Caldwell County will face tournament host Madisonville-North Hopkins in the 7th District title match at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
