DawsonSpringsPanthersPRINCETON, Ky. (2/8/19) — Dawson Springs was unable to claim an upset victory on the road as host Caldwell County pulled away to win 60-34 in a 7th District girls' basketball game on Thursday night.

With the loss, Dawson Springs dropped to 9-16 overall and 0-6 in the 7th District.

Caldwell County improved to 11-13 overall and 3-3 in the district with the win.

The Lady Panthers took the game's first lead, leading 2-0. However, Dawson Springs fell behind and never led again.

Peyton Young paced Caldwell County with 14 points. Joining Young in double figures and recording a double-double for the Lady Tigers, Jacey Jaggers added 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Bella McConnell barely missed registering a double-double for Caldwell County, finishing with nine points and 10 rebounds.

Brooklyn Clark led Dawson Springs with a game-high 15 points. Clark was the only Dawson Springs player to reach double figures in the scoring column.
