WHITESVILLE, Ky. (2/8/19) — Madisonville-North Hopkins notched its seventh straight win and 20th victory in the 2018-19 girls' high school basketball season on Thursday night, defeating host Whitesville Trinity 67-48.
With the win, Madisonville-North Hopkins improved to 20-6.
Whitesville Trinity dropped to 9-16 with the loss.
The Lady Maroons shot 42.6 percent (26-of-61) from the field. Madisonville-North Hopkins shot 81.2 percent (13-of-16) from the free throw line.
Camryn LaGrange scored a game-high 23 points to lead Madisonville-North Hopkins to the victory. Finishing directly behind LaGrange in the Madisonville-North Hopkins scoring column, Courtney Peyton netted 21 points.
Adding a near-double-double for the Lady Maroons, Lindsey Peyton posted nine points and eight rebounds.
