Madisonville North Hopkins MaroonsDIXON, Ky. (2/10/19) — Madisonville-North Hopkins managed to notch its 14th straight win away from home on Saturday, beating host Webster County 69-51 on the Trojans' Homecoming Night.

Longtime 2nd Region boys' basketball rivals, Madisonville-North Hopkins and Webster County met for a late-season matchup.  

With the win, Madisonville-North Hopkins improved to 21-5.

Webster County dropped to 13-13 with the loss.

Kenny White scored a game-high 19 points to lead Madisonville-North Hopkins to the victory. Three Madisonville-North Hopkins players reached double figures in the scoring column as JD Gilbert netted 15 points and Ksuan Casey contributed 13 points.

Narrowly missing double figures for the Maroons, Keshawn Stone chipped in nine points.

Madisonville-North Hopkins shot 46 percent (26-of-56) from the field. The Maroons shot 68.4 percent (13-of-19) from the free throw line.

Madisonville-North Hopkins took a lead our of each quarter. The Maroons led 36-29 at halftime.

Ayden Winn paced Webster County with 13 points. Accompanying Winn in double figures for the Trojans, Tyler Camplin added 11 points.
