Madisonville MaroonsLEXINGTON, Ky. (3/9/19) — Madisonville-North Hopkins fell short in the quarterfinals of the Boys' Sweet 16 as Warren Central held on to win 66-62 at Rupp Arena on Friday night.

With the loss, Madisonville-North Hopkins ended its season 30-6.

Warren Central improved to 22-11 and advanced to the semifinals of the Boys' Sweet 16 with the win.

Dre Boyd paced Warren Central with a team-high 15 points. Joining Boyd in double figures for Warren Central, Kobe Roberts contributed 10 points.

Warren Central forced Madisonville-North Hopkins into committing 17 turnovers.

Kenny White led Madisonville-North Hopkins with a double-double, scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds. Following White with a double-double of his own, Ksuan Casey contributed 16 points and 11 rebounds.
