Maroons logoPRINCETON, Ky. (10/9/19) — Madisonville-North Hopkins rolled in the 9th District Boys' Soccer Tournament title game on Tuesday, shutting out rival Hopkins County Central 9-0 at Caldwell County High School.

With the win, Madisonville-North Hopkins improved to 17-3-2.

Hopkins County Central dropped to 5-11-3 with the loss.

Both Madisonville-North Hopkins and Hopkins County Central advance to the 2nd Region Boys' Soccer Tournament.

Luke McElroy scored four goals to lead Madisonville-North Hopkins to the victory.

Several players contributed offensively for Madisonville-North Hopkins, including Jeshua DeLeon (two goals, two assists), Kael Knight (one goal, three assists), Logan Rainwater (one goal), Zachary Brown (one goal), Ryerson Brower (one assist), Simen Lind (one assist), Dalton Daves (one assist) and JJ Brown (two assists).

Defensively for Madisonville-North Hopins, goalkeepers Niko Perez and Aex Brooks recorded one assist apiece and combined to register a shutout.
