Storm logoMADISONVILLE, Ky. (1/17/20) — Hopkins County Central returned to the win column on Thursday night, defeating visiting Livingston Central 66-29 to halt a four-game losing skid.

With the win, Hopkins County Central improved to 4-9.

Livingston Central dropped to 3-8 with the loss,

The Lady Storm took control early, outscoring Livingston Central 16-9 in the opening quarter. Hopkins County Central led 36-16 at halftime and added to its lead shortly after the intermission period.

Dominant Hopkins County Central led 50-23 at the conclusion of the third quarter.

Hailie Hollis led Hopkins County Central with 14 points. Finishing directly behind Hollis in the Hopkins County Central scoring column, Madison Grigg added 12 points.

Narrowly missing double figures for the Lady Storm, Keri Reynolds netted nine points.
