Hopkins County Central StormMADISONVILLE, Ky. (2/10/20) — Chris Manning has been named the new head coach of the Hopkins County Central football program.

Manning has been a coach on the high school and middle school levels for 28 years. In middle school, Manning compiled a record of 261-85. He guided South Hopkins Middle School to the state championship game in 2019 and the semifinals in 2018. He was an assistant coach on the Murray High School football team which finished as the state runner-up n 1994. Manning was an assistant coach at Madisonville-North Hopkins when the Maroons captured a district title in 2000.

Manning replaces Stephen Wood at the helm of the Hppkins County Central football program. The Storm ended the 2019 high school football season 0-10.
