Storm logoMADISONVILLE, Ky. (2/15/20) — Madison Grigg scored 17 points and Keli Reynolds netted 11 points as Hopkins County Central topped visiting Christian County 54-48 in a girls' high school basketball game on Friday night.

With the win, Hopkins County Central improved to 7-15.

Christian County dropped to 10-15 with the loss.

Hopkins County Central led 27-18 at halftime and remained in control throughout the second half.

Struggling offensively, Christian County shot only 28.3 percent (17-of-60) from the field. The Lady Storm were 4-of-26 from 3-point range. 

Eniya McGee led Christian County with a game-high 19 points. Accompanying McGee in double figures for the Lady Colonels, Lamontavia Forte added 10 points. 

The victory allowed Hopkins County Central to halt a three-game losing skid.
