Henderson County LogoPADUCAH, Ky. (10/6/18) — Henderson County stumbled on the road as host McCracken County won 36-24 in a Class 6A, District 1 football game on Friday night.

With the loss, Henderson County dropped to 5-3 overall and 2-1 in Class 6A, District 1.

McCracken County improved to 5-3 overall and 3-0 in the district with the win.

The Mustangs scored first and never trailed. McCracken County took a 15-10 lead into halftime. 

Quarterback Elijah Wheat led McCracken County to the win, completing 10 of 17 passes for 182 yards and two touchdowns.

Hunter Bradley paced the Mustangs on the ground, rushing 15 times for 103 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

Quarterback Skip Patterson led Henderson County. Patterson completed 11 of 23 passes for 121 yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Patterson rushed 25 times for 117 yards and two touchdowns for the Colonels.
