HCHS ColonelsHENDERSON, Ky. (1/9/19) — Daymian Dixon scored a game-high 35 points to lead Henderson County past visiting Webster County 74-65 in a 6th District boys' basketball game on Tuesday night.

With the win, Henderson County improved to 10-6 overall and 1-0 in the 6th District.

Webster County slipped to 10-6 overall and 0-2 in the district with the loss.

Edmund Brooks scored 17 points and Corey Stewart contributed 16 points for the Colonels in the victory.

Tyler Camplin led Webster County with a team-high 19 points Accompanying Camplin in double figures for the Trojans, Hunter McNaughton posted 16 points. Narrowly missing double figures, Drew Skinner netted nine points for the Trojans in the setback.

Webster County suffered the loss after taking a one-point lead into halftime.

The Colonels outscored the Trojans 40-30 in the second half.
