Henderson County LogoHENDERSON, Ky. (2/15/19) — Henderson County halted a three-game losing skid on Thursday night, defeating visiting 2nd Region foe Christian County 56-47 in a girls' high school basketball game.

With the win, Henderson County improved to 14-7.

Christian County dropped to 15-12 with the loss.

Alyssa Dickson led Henderson County with a double-double, scoring 21 points and pulling down 14 rebounds.

Emilee Hope tossed in 15 points and Katie Rideout contributed 13 points as three Henderson County players reached double figures in the scoring column.

Henderson County shot 72.7 percent (16-of-22) from the free throw line.

Aaliyah Hampton paced Christian County with a game-high 23 points. Hampton was the only Christian County player to reach double figures in the scoring column.

Trinity McGee narrowly missed recording a double-double and led Christian County inside, pulling down a game-high 17 rebounds and scoring nine points.

Christian County shot only 28.3 percent (13-of-46) from the field.
