Henderson County BaseballHENDERSON, Ky. (4/13/19) — Henderson County plated a pair of runs in each of its last two at-bats to defeat visiting Hancock County 10-6 in a high school baseball game on Friday.

With the win, Henderson County improved to 9-8.

Hancock County dropped to 7-5 with the loss.

The Colonels outhit the Hornets 12-10 and were error-free defensively.

Henderson County pitcher Ethan Cartwight earned the win while Hancock County hurler Dylan O'Bryan suffered the loss.

Nick Wimbler and Colton Evans led the Henderson County offensive effort with three hits apiece. Another Henderson County hitter, Ian Pitt, connected for two hits and provided three RBIs.

Parker Newby finished 2-for-4 with four RBIs to lead Hancock County at the plate. O'Bryan went 3-for-4 and scored three runs for the Hornets in the setback.
