henderson flashFRANKLIN, Ky. (7/10/19) — Visiting Henderson prevailed on the road on Tuesday, upending Franklin 9-5 in an Ohio Valley League game at Franklin-Simpson High School Baseball Field.

Braden White was the winning pitcher for the Flash. White pitched three and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and striking out eight. Matthew Craven threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen for the Flash. Craven recorded the last seven outs to earn the save.

Mickey Foytik suffered the pitching loss for the Duelers. Foytik surrendered two runs on four hits over three innings, striking out four.

Henderson outhit Franklin 12-8. Justen Freeman, Trevor Campbell and Josh Johnston each collected multiple hits for the Flash. Freeman led Henderson at the plate, delivering four hits in five at-bats.

James Marcinkowski and Jack Banks each collected multiple hits for the Duelers. Marcinkowski went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Franklin in the hits column. Another Franklin batter, Ethan Shelton, homered.
