Henderson Flash logoHENDERSON, Ky. (7/13/19) — Henderson dominated away from its home field on Friday, leveling host Muhlenberg County 14-1 in an Ohio Valley League game.

Jon Cato led Henderson to the victory on the pitcher's mound. Cato pitched six and a third innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out five and walking one. Helping to close out the matchup for the Flash, Ty Ramey threw two-thirds of an inning in relief.

Muhlenberg County pitcher Noah Graham suffered the pitching loss. Graham pitched three innings, allowing nine hits and eight runs while striking out three.

Henderson outhit Muhlenberg County 17-3. Bryce Thomas, Josh Johnston, Robert Sproul, Justen Freeman and Trevor Campbell each recorded multiple hits for the Flash. Thomas went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Henderson offensively.

Will Myers, Tucker Jordan and Cal Johnston each recorded one hit to pace Muhlenberg County at the plate.
