Henderson Flash logoHENDERSON, Ky. (7/14/19) — Determined Henderson plated six runs in the bottom half of the seventh inning to edge visiting Muhlenberg County 8-7 in the nightcap of an Ohio Valley League doubleheader at B.T. Wayne Field on Saturday.

Luke Brown notched the pitching win for the Flash. Brown pitched two-thirds of an inning, allowing one run on one hit and striking out two. Contributing on the mound for the Flash, Braden White threw five innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Cal Johnston suffered the pitching loss for the Stallions. Johnston pitched one and one-third innings, allowing six runs on five hits and striking out two.

Henderson outhit Muhlenberg County 8-7. Josh Johnston and Austin Domer each homered and recorded multiple hits for the Flash. A productive batter, Josh Johnston led Henderson with three hits in four at-bats.

Reece Puckett went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Muhlenberg County in the hits column.
