Owensboro Catholic logoOWENSBORO, Ky. (12/15/18) — Visiting Owensboro Catholic made itself at home on the road on Friday night, pulling away to defeat Daviess County 57-17 in a 9th District girls' basketball game.

With the win, Owensboro Catholic improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the 9th District.

Daviess County dropped to 0-6 overall and 0-2 in the district with the loss.

The Lady Aces led 25-12 at halftime and outscored Daviess County 16-2 in the third quarter.

Mackenzie Keelin scored a game-high 14 points to lead Owensboro Catholic to the victory. Finishing directly behind Keelin in the Owensboro Catholic scoring column, Sarah Beth Clemens netted 13 points.

Claire Johnson paced limited Daviess County with six points.
