Apollo E GalsMORGANTOWN, Ky. (1/8/19) — Apollo dominated during its latest outing, pulling away to beat host Butler County 68-21 in a non-district girls' high school basketball game on Monday night.

With the win, Apollo improved to 10-7.

Butler County dropped to 2-12 with the loss.

Amber Dunn scored a game-high 20 points to lead Apollo to the convincing victory. Dunn drained four 3-point field goals for the E-Gals.

Accompanying Dunn in double figures for Apollo, Lexi Shadowen added 12 points while dishing out five assists.

Addison Carter led Apollo inside, pulling down eight rebounds.

Apollo shot 64 percent from the field in the winning effort.

Aubrey Clark, Taylin Clark, Graci Leach and Gracie Cardwell paced Butler County with four points apiece.
