Owensboro Red DevilsRUSSELLVILLE, Ky. (1/8/19) — Visiting Owensboro struggled offensively as Logan County pulled away to win 64-34 in a non-district girls' high school basketball game on Monday night.

With the loss, Owensboro dropped to 6-9.

Logan County improved to 9-5 with the win.

Paige Vanzant led Logan County with a game-high 17 points. Kennedy Nicholas (13 points), Sarah Hale (12 points) and Peyton Vanzant (11 points) also reached double figures in scoring for the Lady Cougars.

Logan County led 31-19 at halftime and stretched its lead shortly after intermission, outscoring Owensboro 22-9 in the third quarter.

Tayonna Greer scored 11 points to lead the Lady Devils. Joining Greer in double figures for Owensboro, Amaya Curry added 10 points.
