Owensboro Catholic logoOWENSBORO, Ky. (1/9/19) — Host Owensboro Catholic outscored Whitesville Trinity 33-9 in the third quarter on its way to winning 87-51 in a boys' high school basketball game at the Sportscenter on Tuesday night.

With the win, Owensboro Catholic improved to 10-5.

Whitesville Trinity dropped to 8-6 with the loss.

Freshman Ji Webb scored a game-high 16 points to lead Owensboro Catholic to the victory. Joining Webb in double figures for the Aces, Peyton Survant netted 13 points and John Parker contributed 11 points.

Owensboro Catholic led at the end of each quarter, carrying a 35-24 lead into halftime.

Trenton Morris paced Whitesville Trinity with 15 points. Joining Morris in double figures for the Raiders, Ethan Howard posted 11 points.
