Trinity Raiders logoWHITESVILLE, Ky. (1/11/19) — Determined Whitesville Trinity, competing on its home court, outlasted Edmonson County 67-61 in the 3rd Region All "A" Classic on Thursday night.

With the win, Whitesville Trinity improved to 9-6.

Edmonson County dropped to 7-10 with the loss.

Landon Hall scored 18 points to lead Whitesville Trinity to the victory in the regional small-school boys' basketball tournament. Whitesville Trinity featured four scorers in double figures as Brenden Wathen netted 14 points and Trenton Morris and Ethan Howard added 11 points apiece.

The Raiders outscored Edmonson County 11-5 in the extra period.

Dalton Decker paced Edmonson County with 18 points. A trio of Edmonson County players reached double figures in the scoring column. Griffin Spainhoward posted 11 points while Mason Pierce pushed in 10 points for the Wildcats.
