Trinity Raiders logoLEITCHFIELD, Ky. (2/9/19) — Whitesville Trinity fell short in the end as host Grayson County won 54-51 in a 12th District boys' basketball game on Friday night.

With the loss, Whitesville Trinity fell to 13-13.

Grayson County improved to 13-14 with the win.

Q'Daryius McHenry scored a game-high 17 points and Nolan Shartzer added 16 points to combine to lead Grayson County to the district win.

With the game tied 43-43, Grayson County outscored visiting Whitesville Trinity 11-8 in the final quarter.

Trenton Morris tossed in 14 points and Ethan Howard posted 13 points for the Raiders in the loss. Narrowly missing double figures for Whitesville Trinity, Landon Hall chipped in nine points.
