Owensboro Catholic logoHENDERSON, Ky. (2/12/19) — Behind 18 points from Sarah Beth Clemens, visiting Owensboro Catholic upended Henderson County 49-45 in a late-season girls' high school basketball game on Monday night.

With the win, Owensboro Catholic improved to 21-7.

Henderson County dropped to 13-6 with the loss.

Spencer Harvey and Hannah McKay accompanied Clemens in double figures for the Lady Aces, adding 10 points apiece.

Owensboro Catholic and Henderson County battled back and forth throughout the prep hoops matchup.

The Lady Aces shot 70 percent (14-of-20) from the free throw line in the winning effort. 

Emilee Hope paced Henderson County, finishing with 18 points of her own. Hope was the only Henderson County player to reach double figures in the scoring column.
