Owensboro Catholic logoOWENSBORO, Ky. (2/14/19) — Hannah McKay, a junior forward, scored a game-high 24 points to lead Owensboro Catholic over 3rd Region rival Breckinridge County 56-45 in a late-season girls' high school basketball game at the Sportscenter on Wednesday night.

With the win, Owensboro Catholic improved to 22-7.

Breckinridge County dropped to 18-9 with the loss.

Owensboro Catholic led 26-15 at halftime.

Sarah Beth Clemens accompanied McKay in double figures in scoring for Owensboro Catholic, netting 15 points.

Kayla Young paced Breckinridge County with a team-best 13 points. Young was the only Breckinridge County player to reach double figures in the scoring column.
