Owensboro HSLEITCHFIELD, Ky. (5/12/19) — Owensboro notched back-to-back high school baseball wins on Saturday, defeating 3rd Region rivals Meade County and host Grayson County.

Owensboro 17, Meade County 2 (3 innings): Owensboro used heavy hitting and strong pitching to club Meade County 17-2 in three innings in a high school baseball game at Grayson County High School on Saturday.

Braxton French, Collier Higgs and Trace Grenier homered for Owensboro in the winning effort.

Nick Belcher went 3-for-3 with three RBIs to pace Owensboro at the plate.

Another Owensboro player, Isaac Humphrey, scored three runs.

Corey Gibson was the winning pitcher for the Red Devils.

Owensboro 15, Grayson County 5: Collier Higgs earned the win on the mound as Owensboro topped host Grayson County 15-5 in a high school baseball game on Saturday.

Braxton French homered, tripled and drove in two runs for the Red Devils.

Aiding the Owensboro offensive attack, Weston Hayden provided two singles and three RBIs.
