Dubois County BombersLOUISVILLE, Ky. (8/9/19) — The Dubois County Bombers were unable to remain in the win column as the Louisville Stars prevailed 6-2 on the second day of the Bluegrass World Series at Louisville Slugger Field on Friday.

Pat Misch was the winning pitcher for the Stars. Misch pitching two innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out two and walking zero.

Benton McGill suffered the pitching loss for the Bombers. McGill pitched one inning, allowing two hits and one run while striking out one and walking one.

Louisville outhit Dubois County 9-5. Owensboro native Brad Wilkerson and Chris Dickerson led the Stars at the plate, supplying two hits apiece.

Chase Hug led Dubois County offensively, finishing with two hits in four at-bats.
