Dubois County Bombers 2019LOUISVILLE, Ky. (8/10/19) — The Dubois County Bombers were limited offensively and committed three errors in the field as the Hattiesburg Black Sox pulled away to win 13-3 in seven innings in the Bluegrass World Series at Louisville Slugger Field on Saturday.

Clyde Kendrick claimed the pitching win for the Black Sox. Kendrick pitched three innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out four and walking zero.

Alex Franklin suffered the pitching loss for the Bombers. Franklin pitched one and two-thirds innings, allowing eight runs on seven hits and striking out one.

Hattiesburg outhit Dubois County 13-5. Beau Wallace, Jordan Worsham and JT Hall each recorded multiple hits for the Black Sox. Wallace went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Hattiesburg in the hits column.

Matt Ellis led Dubois County at the plate, providing two hits in three at-bats.
