University Heights logoHOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (10/8/19) — Delivering a dominant performance, University Heights defeated Fort Campbell 10-2 in the 8th District Boys' Soccer Tournament at Hopkinsville High School on Monday.

With the win, University Heights improved to 13-6-1 and advances to the 8th District boys' soccer title match.

Fort Campbell ended its season 4-14-2 with the loss.

William Bryan scored five goals and dealt out one assist to lead University Heights to the win.

Following Bryan, Tanner Thomas scored three goals and dished out two assists for the Blazers.

Rounding out the Blazers' individual scoring, Ethan Alexander and Elvin Wagner added one goal apiece.

Along with the scorers, Noah Shouse (two assists), Adam Goode (two assists) and Mason Price (one assist) contributed offensively for University Heights in the victory.

University Heights is poised to face rival Hopkinsville in the 8th District boys' soccer title match at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
