Softball on fieldBOWLING GREEN, Ky. (12/1/19) — Head coach Amy Tudor and the Western Kentucky University softball program have announced several opportunities for players ranging from seventh grade through junior college to attend camps and clinics during the upcoming winter.

In total, there will be four camps, including the TOPS Elite Winter Clinic, TOPS Prospect Winter Hitting Clinic, TOPS Advanced Infield Clinic and the TOPS Prospect Winter Pitching Clinic. Each outing is designed for all players wanting to further their knowledge in the game of softball. To register or find out more information, visit All camps will take place at the WKU Indoor Hitting Facility located next to the WKU Baseball Field (white building next to WKU Baseball Field off of University Blvd.).

Opening the winter camps slate, the TOPS Elite Winter Clinic is slated for Dec. 8 and is open to seventh graders through junior college players. Skills covered include fielding, throwing, base running and hitting.

The trio of camps on Jan. 11 commence at 9 a.m. with the TOPS Prospect Winter Hitting Clinic which is open to seventh graders through junior college players. In the second camp of the day, WKU Softball will host the TOPS Advanced Infield Clinic. The Hilltoppers are welcoming any player between seventh grade and junior college to sign up for the two-hour session from 1-3 p.m. To close out the day's slate, seventh graders through junior college players are welcome to come out for the TOPS Prospect Winter Pitching Clinic set for 4-6 p.m..
