fatal collision 3 300LIVERMORE, Ky. (10/10/18) — A mid-morning accident has left one person dead and another injured after two vehicles collided head on near Livermore.

Kentucky State Police said Kristina Morrow, 41 of Owensboro was driving a 2006 Honda Civic headed south on U.S. 431 at approximately 10 a.m., when she ran off the right shoulder of the road, over corrected, lost control and slid into the northbound lane.

Charles A. Lindsey, 85 of Drakesboro was headed north on U.S. 431 in a 2012 Ford Fusion. Morrow’s vehicle struck Lindsey’s in the northbound lane. Lindsey was pronounced dead on the scene by McLean County Coroner Will Muster.

Morrow was taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for her injuries.

McLean County Coroner’s Office, McLean County Ambulance Service, McLean County Sheriff’s Department and McLean County area Fire Departments assisted KSP at the scene. U.S. 431 was closed for more than three hours while KSP reconstructed the collision.
