trafficalert blue 300PADUCAH, Ky. (1/13/20) — A crash involving two semis has restricted eastbound traffic on I-24 to one lane near the 27-mile marker in Marshall County, state highway officials reported at 10:55 p.m.

The incident is between the I-24/I-69 Exit 25 and U.S. 62 Calvert City Exit 27 interchanges, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 1 Spokesman Keith Todd said.

Eastbound traffic is restricted to one lane to allow emergency responders to work the crash site. Due to the traffic backup, eastbound I-24 travelers and northbound traffic on I-69 are asked to consider using U.S. 62 eastbound as an alternate route. Estimated delay is expected to be three hours.
