comm of ky 300FRANKFORT, Ky. (2/15/20) — Gov. Andy Beshear made the following appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions:

Lucy Gentry, Chrysanthia Carr-Seals, Marta Miranda-Straub, Marita Willis, Ashley Adkins, Marisa Aull, and Sarah Holland as members of the Kentucky Commission on Women. 

Gentry of Lexington is in business development at Ridge Behavorial Health System. She replaces Mary Capilouto, whose term has expired. She shall serve for a term expiring Jan. 17, 2023.

Carr-Seals of Lexington is a pastor at St. Paul UMC. She replaces Danette Wilder, whose term has expired. She shall serve for a term expiring Jan. 17, 2024.
Marta Miranda-Straub of Louisville is an organizational consultant and owner of Catapult Now LLC. She replaces Paula Connell, whose term has expired. She shall serve for a term expiring Jan. 17, 2024.

Willis of Louisville is the executive director at Hope Collaborative. She replaces Lourdes Baez, whose term has expired. She shall serve for a term expiring Jan. 17, 2024. Marita shall also serve as Chair of the Commission.

Adkins of Morehead is an attorney on the Amy McGrath for Senate campaign. She replaces Ann Greene, whose term has expired. She shall serve for a term expiring Jan 17, 2024.

Aull of Lexington is the director of the Nutrition Education Program at the University of Kentucky. She replaces Kathy Sargent, whose term has expired. She shall serve for a term expiring Jan. 17, 2024.

Holland of Paducah is a podcaster and author of Pantsuit Politics, LLC. She replaces Alicia Johnson, whose term has expired. She shall serve for a term expiring Jan. 17, 2024.

Beshear has appointed Scott Borders as a member of the Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Board, to serve a term expiring Jan. 4, 2024.

Borders of Florence is an attorney at Morgan, Collins, Yeast & Salyer. He replaces Rebekkah Rechter, whose term has expired.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Jane Greer as a member of the Financial Institutions Board, to serve a term expiring Oct. 10, 2023.

Jane Greer of London is the business development officer at the First National Bank of Manchester. She replaces Joseph Roberts, whose term has expired.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Karen Thompson and Sonya Dick as members of the State Board of Physical Therapy, to serve terms expiring Jan. 1, 2023.

Karen Thompson of Louisville is a physical therapist at Baptist Health. She replaces Linda Pillow, whose term has expired.

Sonya Dick of Smiths Grove is an adjunct professor at Crawford Healthcare KCI. She replaces Talia Weinberg, whose term has expired.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Richard Eisert and Larry Arnett as of the Governor’s Advisory Board for Veterans’ Affairs, to serve terms expiring Sept. 25, 2022.

Richard Eisert of Lexington is a retired attorney. He replaces Richard Vaccari, whose term has expired.

Larry Arnett of Frankfort is a retired deputy commissioner. He replaces Jackie Mattingly, whose term has expired.

Beshear has appointed Marc Manley as a member of the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Private Investigators, representing the Office of the Attorney General, to serve a term expiring Aug. 15, 2020.

Manley of Frankfort is an attorney in the Attorney General’s office. He replaces Taylor Payne, who has resigned.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Carol Dan Browning as a member of the Kentucky State Police Personnel Board, to serve a term expiring June 19, 2023.

Carol Dan Browning of Louisville is an attorney at Stites & Harbison. She replaces Rebecca Rittenhouse.

Beshear has appointed Janet Lively and Joe Ellis as members of the Judicial Conduct Commission, to serve terms expiring Jan. 1, 2024.

Lively of Louisville is the vice president of marketing and business development at Schaefer General Contracting. She replaces Michael Noftsger, whose term has expired.

Ellis of Benton is an optometrist at EyeCare Associated of Kentucky. He replaces Don Tharpe, whose term has expired.

Beshear has appointed David Sloan and Roula Allouch as members of the Public Advocacy Commission, to serve terms expiring July 15, 2022.

Sloan of Fort Mitchell is an attorney at O’Hara Taylor Sloan & Cassidy. He replaces Robert Ewald, whose term has expired.

Allouch of Erlanger is an attorney at Graydon Law. She replaces Charles English, whose term has expired

Beshear has appointed Francis Simpson and Sandy Stovall as members of the Kentucky Board of Barbering, to serve terms expiring Feb. 1, 2023.

Simpson of Elizabethtown is a barber. He replaces Joseph McNulty, whose term has expired.

Stovall of Owensboro is a barber shop owner. She replaces Robert Thompson, whose term has expired.
