KENTUCKY (12/31/2017) Armless KY Kid Archer Makes His Mark.

Hitting a target accurately, with a bow, requires a lot of skill. Our Jason Lindsey caught up with a kid archer, who not only has skill, but has it against all odds. Although armless and in the fifth grade, Dylan is as good as the middle and high school students, on his team.

“I think it’s really fun it’s a little challenging, which I really like.”

Meet Dylan Black, he’s a fifth grade archer.

“Dylan is a prime example of anybody that can shoot archery.”

“I’m really good, at least that’s what other people say.”

“He is great!” And he has NO arms.

“I was born with NO arms, but my parents did not see that as a disadvantage, they just saw that as a different advantage.”

“My high school group, some of those kids, when they first saw Dylan, was like, how is this guy going to do this, we’ll Dylan showed these guys that, hey, you better be on, because I’m coming.”

So did the community, they united to engineer this special contraption for Dylan.

“So, that contraption helps hold the bow while I pull it back and shoot it.”

“I really wanted to prove to people that, just because you are different, doesn’t mean you can’t do it.”

An amazing kid with a future, right on target. In Richardsville.
